[Equipped with a high-performance DLC composite diaphragm] The MG20 uses a moving unit equipped with a 10mm DLC composite diaphragm developed to achieve excellent transient response, enabling smooth braking even within a compact housing. Inside, it uses a number of technologies such as a 10mm DLC plated diaphragm, dual magnetic circuit, and pure copper voice coil.
[10mm DLC Composite Diaphragm] The MG20 is equipped with a high-quality DLC composite diaphragm that uses diamond-like carbon fiber (DLC) material, which is a general term for thin films that combine both diamond and graphite, achieving high rigidity, high sensitivity, and excellent transient response. The high-flux dual magnetic circuit installed at the rear and low split vibration enable natural transmission, and the flexible suspension design reduces the gap and increases bass depth and elasticity for better bass dynamics.
[Excellent internal structure] MG20 uses a high-flux, high-efficiency magnetic circuit that uses a pure copper voice coil and N52 dual magnets, and has an internal structure that is lightweight and has high vibration transmission performance. This circuit provides the MG20 with excellent full-range transient response, easy-to-drive, wide dynamic range, and delicate, mellow sound.
[Optimized Front Chamber Structure] MG20 overturns the cavity structure of conventional dynamic moving units and adopts a compact and smooth cavity design while ensuring space for the internal 10mm diaphragm unit to operate smoothly. By optimizing the front chamber structure inside the shell to reflect ergonomics, it provides an optimal fit without putting pressure on the ear canal, and makes it possible to deliver natural, deep low frequencies that make the most of the properties of the diaphragm, as well as smooth, speedy, and high-resolution sound without loss.
[Tuning based on HRTF and data that leads to the ideal sound experience] MG20 is tuned based on HRTF (head-related transfer function) and a tuning/frequency response curve that is considered ideal. With less than 0.05% non-linear distortion and extremely high precision, its excellent acoustic performance not only provides a neutral and transparent listening experience, but also reproduces clear sound layers and reproduces a faithful sound stage. [Achieving Stylish Looks and Comfortable Wearability] The MG20 shell is made of zinc alloy, which is strong and durable, and is manufactured through 5-axis CNC machining and anti-oxidation treatment. Although it has a simple and elegant design, it is lightweight at only 5.6g per side, and even considering the driver size, it is extremely compact.
[Compatible with 0.78mm 2pin re-cable, convenient replacement design] Although the MG20 is a low-end model, it uses a connector that can be replaced with the 0.78mm 2pin standard. Maintainability and expandability are ensured, and the ability to customize the cable in pursuit of originality and replace the cable makes it possible to use it for a long time.
[Uses high-purity OFC cable] The MG20's attached cable uses a special cable with a 6-prong, 12-core structure that uses high-purity OFC (oxygen-free copper) wire. It supports a flexible and convenient listening experience while maintaining high quality.
