<The finest Belgian leather, known as the jewel of leather> This leather is made by Masur, a long-established tannery and the only tannery in Belgium, founded in 1873. We only use carefully selected beef shoulder parts from France, which are considered to be of the highest quality. It is characterized by the wrinkle pattern "tiger" that is characteristic of the shoulder area, which is soaked with dye to create a beautiful pattern. Because it is a natural pattern, no two pieces are the same, and each piece is a one-of-a-kind item. Wild yet elegant, it has a fine and glossy finish that resembles a "leather jewel". Another appeal of this leather is its robustness and durability. Since it is heavily fatted during the production process, the more it is used, the more it ages, the more its unique flavor increases, and a deep luster slowly develops.
Tannery Mazur/A long-established tannery founded in 1873 and the only tannery in Belgium. The factory and headquarters are located in Estenburg, close to the French border. We specialize in vegetable tanning, and when we first started, we only produced shoe soles. Therefore, we specialize in producing leather with excellent fastness and durability. After that, we introduced new technology and produced leather for belts, bags, etc., which is heavily oiled during the processing stage and which ages noticeably the more it is used. In addition, to protect the natural environment, the factory is working on programs to reuse wastewater treatment and use water effectively.
