The charging current is 1A (according to the description it can be up to 2.1A), while the charger from my phone charges with 1.8A. The inscriptions on the case are illogical made. Normally the top of the USB plug (the one with the symbol of the USB standard) corresponds to the top of the device. Here the plug has to be inserted the other way round (with the USB symbol facing down), which is irritating.
