Hands off! Dangerous scrap! A pungent odor from the device as soon as it is switched on (without load!). After a short time smoke and crackling from the inside, voltage display goes dark. After opening the device, the housing of the voltmeter shows a clear melting. After opening the voltmeter itself, the burnt-out series resistor including the burn marks on the capacitor below is clearly visible. The inner workings are built in at an angle with an increased risk of contact with the non-earthed metal outer housing. In general, the wiring of the components is carried out improperly and endangers the function and life: no ferrules, therefore loose wire ends next to the screw contacts, unsafe welding of the wires on the contact tongues (not intended and in my opinion also not permissible from a safety point of view!) etc. CONCLUSION: The use of this voltage regulator, which apparently only regulates from about 120V, in between to allegedly almost 300V, is according to my opinion life-threatening as an expert and therefore inadmissible!
It is an AC voltage stabilizer. The device is planned to be connected to heaters. It looks aesthetically and reliably. I have not tested its operation yet, I will do it soon and describe the results. So far everything ok
Did not work for my blow dryer the main reason why I bought it. It does not exactly explain what they mean by 🚫motor.
If the device is plugged into the socket, the circuit breaker trips immediately.
