Turk was founded in Germany in 1857 by blacksmith Albert-Karl Turk.
For over 150 years, we have continued to use a handmade manufacturing method that involves repeatedly heating and forging a lump of iron (pig iron) at high temperatures, and then pounding a single board over and over again.
It is not treated with Teflon, so you can use it with confidence from a health standpoint. This frying pan brand is recognized by professionals and can be used semi-permanently if used with care.
